I think I know what you are thinking – what kind of person starts a blog and then doesn’t post anything for weeks at a time? That’s a fair question and I can answer it in two words: I did. Why? Lot’s of reasons, but I assure you that it was not some experiment on human responses to puzzling situations. Rather, my wife and I relocated from North Carolina to South Carolina. The move has taken a good bit of my time and attention, so the blog was put on the back burner. Now that we are settled, I can begin posting some of my thoughts on Baptist history.
By way of reminder, please reread the “rules of engagement” that were posted back when we launched this venture. I want this blog to be useful for Baptist historians and others who are interested in the Baptist heritage. As such, I invite your responses. HOWEVER, I will not allow this blog to degenerate into personal attacks or a platform for personal politics. Like I said, reread the rules of engagement.
